What to include in a report
The more of this you can give us, the faster we can find the problem:
- What happened, and what you expected. For example: “Guard didn’t warn me about the bridge on Mill Road. I expected a High Risk alert.”
- When it happened. The date and roughly what time.
- Your iPhone model and iOS version. You’ll find these in Settings › General › About.
- Your TopAware version. It’s shown in Settings › General › iPhone Storage › TopAware.
- How you were driving. Guard mode with another navigation app, or navigating in TopAware? Was CarPlay connected? If so, which car?
- Your rig height as set in Garage, if the problem is about an alert.
- The zone, if there was one. Its name as shown in the app, or the street and town of the structure.
- Screenshots or a screen recording, if you have them.
We never need your password or payment details, and we’ll never ask for them. There’s no need to send your route. The zone in question is enough.
Purchases and subscriptions
Apple processes every TopAware purchase, so some things can only be done through Apple:
- Restore Pro in TopAware under Settings › TopAware Pro › Restore purchases.
- Cancel a subscription in iPhone Settings › [your name] › Subscriptions.
- Ask for a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com.
We can’t see your payment details or issue refunds ourselves, but if Pro isn’t working after a purchase, email us and we’ll help.
Reporting a wrong zone
The quickest fix is to report it in the app: open the zone and choose what’s wrong. Your report reaches us and other drivers straight away. If something about a zone looks dangerous or deliberately false, email us as well with the zone’s name and location.
